Our client is one of the leading pharmaceutical company.
- Sales Strategy & P&L Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets. Manage P&L for sustainable growth. Analyze market trends and competitor performance to identify opportunities and risks.
- Portfolio Optimization: Align and optimize the product portfolio with market needs. Identify growth opportunities and manage near-expiry products to minimize returns.
- Forecasting & Target Setting: Create annual forecasts and set monthly sales targets by region and product. Monitor performance, address variances, and implement actionable plans.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop the sales team to meet KPIs. Conduct field visits, provide feedback, identify training needs, and groom potential candidates for higher roles.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, regulatory, and distribution partners. Build strong relationships with KOLs, decision-makers, and key accounts.
- Participate in scientific conferences and events.
- Performance Management: Monitor sales performance, analyze reports, implement corrective actions, and provide updates to the General Manager.
- Team Building & Motivation: Communicate objectives clearly, foster collaboration, and motivate the team through recognition and incentives.
- Budget & ROI Management: Control the regional sales budget, ensure effective utilization, and monitor ROI for sales initiatives and events.
- 10+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry with experience in sales and marketing
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field is required.
- An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical business, consumer health sector and FMCG industries across different markets
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relational internally and external partner
- Open minded and flexible to take new challenges and responsibilities
- Experience in trade and digital marketing
- Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market, with experience in Gulf & Iraq markets being an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of project management, and certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency at leading cross-functional teams and managing complex multi-faceted sales functions
- Excellent analytical skills, including problem-solving/structuring, prioritization, and quantitative abilities
- Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to work with senior executives, work with and through them.
- Demonstrated flexibility in situational management in applying a mix of opportunistic, medium to long-term approach
- The customer/consumer-centric approach is an essential requirement
