Our client is involved in a large scale real estate brownfield projects in the KSA region with a focus on various different asset classes across a large area. The different asset classes include Cultural and Historical, Retail and Lifestyle and Hospitality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement asset management strategies that align with the overall business goals and objectives of the organization.
- Oversee the planning, acquisition, and disposal of assets.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of asset data.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure the effective management of assets.
- Monitor asset performance and identify opportunities for improvement, such as cost savings, process efficiencies, and risk reduction.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of asset management practices and recommend changes or improvements as needed.
- Lead and mentor a team of asset management professionals.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for asset management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and legal, to ensure the effective management of assets across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in asset management and recommend changes to the organization's asset management strategy as needed.
- Analyze and report on asset performance metrics, including return on investment, utilization rates, and maintenance costs.
- Participate in the development and implementation of capital budgets and long-term asset management plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to asset management, such as environmental regulations.
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with asset management, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
The successful candidate will be strong in Asset Management with a focus on large and complex projects. Strong leadership skills and management skills are required.
A Master's Degree and more than 15 years' experience will be preferred.
