Job Presentation

We are partnering with a prestigious government consulting firm. They specialize in empowering governments-from central agencies to ministries and public enterprises-to design, manage, and implement impactful programs that benefit the global community.


Payroll (for over 150 employees across multiple locations):

  • Manage all aspects of payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments across five countries.
  • Oversee pension and tax reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate effectively with payroll service providers to maintain smooth operations and address any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations for both employers and employees.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare financial reports.
  • Provide support to HR on employee data management, including handling new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation.
  • Develop user-friendly templates to streamline payroll processes.
  • Calculate and process end-of-service benefits and other termination payments.
  • Implement and maintain strong payroll policies and controls to safeguard data integrity.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and automation within the payroll system.
  • Lead or contribute to the implementation of payroll-related projects and initiatives.



Treasury:

  • Act as a liaison with banks to resolve any banking issues and ensure smooth transactions.
  • Monitor account balances across various currencies and ensure sufficient funds for payroll needs.
  • Reconcile bank accounts regularly to identify and address discrepancies.
  • Review and record bank charges accurately.
  • Obtain necessary transaction details and documentation for the finance team.
  • Manage and track bank guarantees within the GCC region.
  • Work with the Accounts Payable team to upload payment instructions to banking systems.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for approval by the Head of Finance.
  • Generate bi-weekly short-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Manage currency requirements and request forex funding as needed.
  • Reconcile individual corporate credit cards monthly and investigate any discrepancies.

Other:

  • Assist the team with various non-routine general accounting tasks on a monthly basis.
  • Lead or participate in the selection and implementation of a new payroll system that seamlessly integrates with the existing HR platform.




Preferred Experience:

  • Payroll Expertise: 4-6 years of payroll experience following qualification, ideally gained in a multinational company with some exposure to the Middle East market.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience within the professional services industry is a valuable asset.
  • Communication and Organization: You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively plan and prioritize tasks and projects.
  • Composure and Adaptability: You can remain calm under pressure and manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
  • Teamwork: You are a strong team player who is both dedicated and flexible.
