Job offer: Senior Design Manager - Residential / Mixed-Use Projects

• Lead and manage the design process from concept through to construction for the Diriyah 2 development.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of multiple design consultants, ensuring their deliverables are aligned with the masterplan and approved project vision.
• Review and validate design drawings, reports, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Organize and chair regular design coordination meetings, workshops, and presentations with internal teams and external consultants.
• Ensure that all design activities align with project objectives, regulatory requirements, sustainability standards, and cultural significance.
• Manage the approval process for design submissions, including coordination with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and client stakeholders.
• Work closely with the project team to monitor design progress, address any potential delays, and implement corrective measures when needed.
• Foster a collaborative environment between architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure design intent is being followed during the construction phase and resolve any on-site design challenges.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior design managers and design teams.
• Prepare and present detailed design reports, progress updates, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the design team, ensuring that the client's vision and objectives are consistently met.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications in Design Management or Project Management is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 15-30 years of experience in architectural design, design management, and project management, with a focus on large-scale, high-profile projects. Experience in heritage, cultural, or mixed-use developments is a plus.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and design teams.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of design processes, regulatory compliance, sustainability standards, and construction methodologies.
• Software: Proficiency in design management software, AutoCAD, Revit, and other related tools.
