They offer customized solutions to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a dynamic Global Business Development Director to lead their global sales and strategic initiatives.
- Business Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of global business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets in line with company objectives.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and engage new business prospects across various industries, with a strong focus on large-scale engineering maintenance and repair contracts.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in global markets. Work closely with C-level executives, procurement, and operations teams to secure partnerships.
- Market Expansion: Explore new markets and geographies, evaluating market trends and customer needs to provide tailored engineering solutions.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with internal teams including operations, engineering, and project management to ensure seamless execution of client contracts and projects.
- Performance Monitoring: Set and manage KPIs, forecast revenue, and report performance metrics to the senior leadership team.
- Proven Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in business development roles, ideally within the engineering services or maintenance and repair sectors.
- Global Expertise: Experience managing global accounts and driving business growth across multiple regions (North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia).
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing senior-level client relationships.
- Sales Acumen: Strong background in securing high-value contracts and an ability to close complex sales deals in a technical environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the maintenance and repair services landscape, with experience in sectors like oil & gas, industrial equipment, energy.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
