Job offer: Sales Manager

Our client is a pharmaceutical company that is part of a family-owned conglomerate in Dubai. They are looking to hire a Sales Manager to manage their Pharmaceutical distribution across the UAE.

Sales & Distribution:

• Oversee all sales and distribution activities, following the strategic guidance from the Pharma Operations Manager.
• Ensure the company's products are listed and available in all pharmacies and hospitals, enabling product specialists to effectively promote them.

Process Optimization & Expansion:

• Streamline distribution processes, manage the sales teams' CRM, and regularly visit pharmacies and hospitals to ensure the company's OTC and branded products are well-supported by the pharmacist community.
• Provide ongoing feedback on product movement and market trends to management.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and inspire a team of around 10 sales representatives, covering both branded and OTC product lines.
• Work closely with the marketing team to support sales performance in individual and chain pharmacies.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Ensure products are available in key accounts, pharmacies, and hospitals across all emirates, and manage activities such as product seeding, payment collection, and expiry management.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations, and support the Pharma Operations Manager with operational insights.
• Oversee government tenders, contracts, and quotations with authorities such as MOH, DOH, SEHA, HAAD, DM, and Rafed.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research, reporting findings to the Pharma Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science is mandatory
• A minimum of 8years of experience with a pharmaceutical distributor, focusing on generics and branded OTC products within the UAE market.
• Proven track record in a Pharma Distribution Manager role, with experience leading a multicultural sales team and achieving high financial targets.
• Strong connections with pharmacy purchasers, chain pharmacy owners, and private pharmacies across the UAE.
