Job vacancy Executive Director, AI : UAE National Role

• Define and lead the strategic direction of AI initiatives across the government, aligning with national priorities.
• Establish responsible AI governance frameworks, build partnerships with key stakeholders, and drive the development of an AI ecosystem.
• Oversee the development and implementation of foundational AI capabilities, platforms, and toolkits.
• Monitor and support change management efforts, assessing the impact of AI initiatives, and developing frameworks to measure value realisation.

• Master's or Ph.D. in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of leadership experience in AI, technology, or digital.
• Prior experience working closely with government entities is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale AI or technology programs with successful outcomes.
• Experience in fostering partnerships and collaborations with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively manage change and support AI adoption.
• Experience in developing and monitoring KPIs to assess the value and effectiveness of AI initiatives.
