The Oman Refreshment Company (ORC) is a leader in Oman's manufacturing industry, having been established in 1974 by prominent Omani businessmen with an initial investment of RO 800,000. ORC holds the franchise rights to PepsiCo's beverage range for the Sultanate of Oman, and it first opened in South Ghubra in the Wilayat of Bashar, Muscat with a single bottling line of Returnable Glass Bottles (RGB) to meet the existing market demands. As ORC's products gained in popularity, the company has expanded its manufacturing and distribution capabilities to meet the changing needs of its consumers.
