USING WRITER RELOCATIONS FOR A MOVE IS SUICIDAL!!!
We used Writer Relocations to move 68m2 between Dubai and Riyadh last summer. Never, never use this company!!! They ruined all our personal belongings due to improper packaging and improper storage. Did they used temps for the packing as it was the last week of school in June and therefore a key period fir them? It is not my problem, I paid a high price for a high quality service. It was a disaster. All our wooden furniture arrived all cracked due to severe heat. Where was the AC storage?
They are so professionnel that dôme boxes arrivee with our number, some boxes where forgèrent in Dubaï And an EOS calera was stolen!
Thé damages are considérable : Large wall paintings damaged, wedding dress ruined as it Turned yellow, carpets moulded, antiques beheaded, porcelain trays from my grand mother smashes, all my Silk dresses are sprinter, all the white clothes/bed linen moulded, all the toys with plastic changed shape and color.. All my past life and souvenirs are severe damaged... Just like that... Just because Writer relocations did not pack properly and did not store in AC as per contract! Now it is a long battle as insurance do not cover any damage caused by heat or by humidity. Writer relocations has no customer service. They have not even called us to apologize! Avoid such drama, just use another company.
We had the choice between Writer relocation and Crown relocation. Crown was 3000 euros more expensive... Now we have claims of 60,000 euros!!! We made a clear mistake. With Crown, a friend of mine had a concern. The next day the top management had come to see her in person to assess the damage and all the clothes were taken to a professional dry clean. They were in constant touch with her and after a week, a 2000 euros advance was release so that she could go to buy what she needed while they were dealing with the claim.
Problems and sinister can happen in life. Customer service us all about how you deal with it...
Not being in touch and not helping your customer will only lead in a long legal battle.
My advise : USE A PROFESSIONAL MOVING COMPANY WITH GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NIT DEAL WITH WRITER RELOCATIONS
